מהנדסים ישראלים סולקו ממרוקו 

"פייסבוק" מחקו דף של קבוצת תמיכה במהנדס המרוקאי מוחמד בנזיאן שפוטר מעבודתו כמנהל פרוייקטים לאחר שהביע סירובו להשתתף בסמינר שכלל שלושה חברי סגל מקצועי מישראל.
בקבוצה היו חברים למעלה מעשרת אלפים חברים. במחאה נפתחה קבוצה חדשה שעד כה חברים בה 3460 חברים.
מוחמד בנזיאן (31) מהנדס מחשבים במקצועו עבד עד לא מכבר בחב'Sofrecom חברה המספקת פתרונות עסקיים לחברות בתחום התקשורת. לפני כחודש ימים נערך סמינר מקצועי במסגרתו הוזמנו שלושה מהנדסים ישראלים להרצות בפני משתתפים מהנדסים שעובדים בחברה "סופרקום". משהתבררה זהות הישראלים מוחמד בנזיאן וחלק מעמיתיו המקצועיים הביאו מחאה וסירבו להשתתף בסמינר "משום שאינם מכירים בישות הציונית(ישראל נ.נ)". בעקבות התלהטות היצרים בוטל הסמינר והישראלים שבו על עקבותיהם ביום השני להגעתם למרוקו.
בהתכנסות בתאריך ה24 בדצמבר שאושרה מראש מול משרדי החברה ברבאט, נשאו דברים המהנדסים שהשתתפו בסמינר שבוטל וראשי איגוד המהנדסים במרוקו גינו את ראשי החברה שהזמנת מהנדסים ישראלים התפרשה בניסיון לביטוי נורמליזציה "עם הישות הציונית הפושעת". מהר מאוד פוזרה ההתכנסות ע"י כוחות הביטחון ובמקרי התנגדות נקודתיים נעשה שימוש בכוח. בעקבות האירועים פוטר מוחמד בנזיאן ממקום עבודתו. מחב' "סופרקום" בחרו שלא להגיב.
יו"ר איגוד המהנדסים המרוקאי הופיע ברשת אל-ז'זירה והביע הזדהות עם המהנדס וגינוי חריף לחברה.
מקורבי מוחמד בנזיאן יצרו קבוצת תמיכה באתר הרשת החברתית "פייסבוק" שמנתה מעל לעשרת אלפים חברים. מסיבה לא ברורה דף הקבוצה נמחק וקבוצה אחרת באותו השם נפתחה מחדש. עד כה חברים בקבוצה החדשה מעל ל-4000 חברים. הנוגעים לעניין הביעו תמיהה והאשימו את ה"לובי היהודי" שפעל למחיקת דף הקבוצה. במקביל, באתר לעצומות וירטואליות נוצרה עצומה ועד כה חתמו עליה 1688 חברים.
בשיחת טלפון מסר מוחמד בנזיאן כי אין לו שום בעיה עם יהודים אלא עם ה"טעות ההיסטורית" כלשונו בהתייחסותו להקמתה של מדינת ישראל.
בימים אלה הוא שוקל לפנות לבית המשפט ולתבוע את החברה שפיטרה אותו ללא כל הצדקה חוקית.
בקבלת פנים שנערכה לכבוד המהנדס הסרבן, אמר מזכ"ל המפלגה האסלאמית עבדעילה בן-קיראן כי הוא שבע רצון מהתנהלותו של המהנדס הצעיר והוסיף כי "ראוי כי ידעו שהמרוקאים ידעו לומר בבוא הזמן 'לא' ".

לחברת Sofrecom הבינלאומית סניפים בעיקר בעולם הערבי ובמאגר הכולל כמאתיים לקוחות נמצאות חברות תקשורת גדולות כגון France telecom, Maroc-Telecom ועוד.
